In today’s post I’m going to do an in depth review of a new product called “Ease” Naturally Relaxing Magnesium spray from a company called Activation Products. Although the product has yet to be publicly released, they sent me a bottle to try out a couple of weeks ago so that I could provide a real user review of the product.

In this review I will provide a little background on why we need Magnesium, and the symptoms of a magnesium deficiency. Then I’ll look at the best ways to get Magnesium into your body, discuss the Ease product, and share my own results using Ease.
Up until about a year ago, I never really thought much about Magnesium. I figured that it was just one of the many vitamins and minerals that I was getting naturally through my diet and supplement regime. Then I made an appointment with a natural health expert/nutrition expert who works in my area expert in order to work on fine tuning my diet a bit. He recommended Magnesium supplementation.
Why Do We Need Magnesium?
My session with this natural health guru was only an hour long, and we discussed a lot of topics, so he didn’t go into that much detail on Magnesium, but he did strongly urge me to supplement with it.
Being the curious guy I am, I did a lot of follow up research on the topic and was kind of shocked to discover just how important this mineral is for our health. This mineral is in fact responsible for at least 350 different critically important enzymatic actions in the human body!
It’s necessary for everything from our immune system function, to helping us to metabolize fats, sugars and protein. Both our nervous systems and our muscles need it. We need it so that our hearts and brains work! The list goes on and on… We even need it for cellular health, for energy, food mood, even for our dental health.
Personally I think it’s crazy that they don’t teach you anything about this in school (expect perhaps very briefly if you take honors biology or something like that). I mean seriously, this stuff is IMPORTANT!
How To Tell If You Have A Magnesium Deficiency…
According to research studies, as many as 80% of US adults are shown to be chronically deficient in Magnesium, and the other 20 percent are likely moderately deficient, so based on that it’s likely that you are too.
The list of symptoms is long, and of course there are other issues that can cause they symptoms, but just so you have the info, here are some of the most common things that folks with a Magnesium deficiency experience: inability to relax, low energy and/or chronic fatigue, trouble sleeping, irritability, anxiety, headaches, muscle cramps, high blood pressure, body aches, joint pain, diabetes, obesity, constipation and other digestive issues (as well as some very serious diseases)…
That’s a pretty wide spectrum of symptoms. And personally I’ve suffered from a few of those. That said, it’s one of those things where it can be hard to tell 100% whether these issues are caused directly by a magnesium deficiency.
My feeling is that since a magnesium deficiency CAN cause these things that it only makes sense to make sure you are getting enough magnesium! After all, better safe than sorry.
The Best Ways To Get More Magnesium:
Many people (like me) have assumed that they get enough Magnesium through their diets or a daily multivitamin. However, these methods can fail to provide adequate magnesium levels. Sure you can eat more leafy green vegetables, or be like me and drink a tall glass of green juice every day, but that takes a lot of effort, and even then that might not be enough
Things like drinking tap water, and drinking coffee or alcohol can suck the magnesium right out of your body, even if you are getting enough to begin with which is unlikely. That leaves us with supplementation…
However what I have learned is that many leading experts are now in agreement that taking oral supplements (tablets and capsules) is NOT going to allow your body to absorb Magnesium properly, and can even worsen your deficiency.
Instead, they recommend “transdermal administration”, which means getting it through your skin. They also recommend getting a specific type of Magnesium called “Magnesium Chloride Hexahydrate” which is rather hard to come by…
Here’s what the author of the “Tao of Detox” has to say about this:
“The form of Magnesium which the human metabolic system recognizes and assimilates most readily is magnesium chloride, the same form contained in sea water. And the simple secret to the proper administration and optimum assimilation of Magnesium is to apply it transdermally, i.e. via the skin, not as an oral supplement.”
Facts About EASE Magnesium & My Experience With The Product…
This brings us to Ease Magnesium which is the only transdermal spray that you can get that is made up of Magnesium Chloride Hexahydrate.
While I am typically very picky about the supplements I am willing to try, EASE Magnesium comes from the Activation Products company who I trust implicitly. I have been a fan of this company since I discovered them, and I have been recommending their products ever since.
The great thing about Activation Products is that they really care about creating the best products in the world. They don’t create this stuff cheaply, an it’s not just some generic junk you can get at GNC. So when you get it you can know that you are using the highest quality, purest, and cleanest Magnesium Chloride Hexahydrate available.
The problem is that it can be very hard to test the effectiveness of a product like this unless you have a specific symptom you are trying to aleve. While I have issues with low energy, irritability, etc… It hard to say that a supplement has fixed these issues.
What I will say is that since using the product I have genuinely felt much more energetic, less irritable, and I have been sleeping better. And, I have used the spray daily on my knee and seen an excellent improvement in regards to my joint pain.
Based on that, I know that this stuff is works. And based on Activation Products quality standards, this is the only Magnesium supplement I would take personally or recommend.
In the end, we all need magnesium in order for our bodies to function properly. From my research and my use of the product I think that EASE Magnesium is the best, and most effective Magnesium supplement on the market and I highly recommend it!
